What To Do
- Set Up
- Arrive at the Pack Meeting 10 - 15 minutes early (usually 6:45).
- Arrange tables if necessary.
- Take out the flags, advancement "ladder" and candles from under the stage.
- Set up advancement "ladder" on a small table on the stage.
- Set up the amplifier, speakers, and microphone (from cabinet on stage) on the stage, if necessary. Don't worry if you don't know how - wait for someone else to arrive.
- Flag Ceremony
- The boys will perform both the opening and closing ceremony.
- Sample Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony scripts are available.
- Refreshments
- Cookies, treats, whatever...
- The Pack has a couple of 5 gallon collors. Prior to your turn, you can pick one up at the Pack meeting from the Quatermaster.
- Cake Raffle
- Bring any baked goods.
- Raffle items should be placed on the left end of the stage.
- Sell tickets prior to and at the beginning of the meeting.
- The raffle will take place at the end of the meeting.
- Clean Up
- Reset the cafeteria - tables to original locations (ask the Set Up den).
- Pick up trash and clean off tables.
- Let's be good Scouts - "Leave No Trace"
- PTA Ceremony
- This ceremony is to be done in full Class A uniform. Look sharp!
- Arrive in the cafeteria at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting (usually 6:45).
- Perform the opening flag ceremony as listed above.
